Personal Injury

Car Accidents

Notwithstanding self-driving cars, and in some cases because of them, we still inhabit a society where dangerous car accidents happen all too frequently. If you are injured in a Las Vegas car accident due to the negligence of another driver, Court King Injury Law can help you navigate the uncertainty of dealing with a sudden, serious injury and the challenges that lie ahead. Court King will be with you every step of the way to ensure that your rights as an injured victim are protected, you get the treatment you need to make a full recovery, and that you are compensated fairly for the pain and disruption you have unecessarily suffered.

Motorcycle Accidents

Motorcycle accidents are significantly more dangerous than motor vehicle accidents. According to the National Safety Council (NSC), motorcyclists account for a disproportionate number of all traffic fatalities. Although only 3.5% of registered vehicles are motorcycles, motorcycle deaths makeup over 14% of traffic fatalities overall. Non-fatal motorcycle injuries are on the rise, too. Not surprisingly, the majority of motorcycle accidents involve another motor vehicle; however, the motorcyclist injury rate is approximately 4x greater than motor vehicle occupants. Wearing a helmet can substantially reduce the risk of serious injury or death in case of a motorcycle accident, and properly licensed motorcyclists are less likely than unlicensed riders to get in a crash. If you’ve been injured in a Las Vegas motorcycle accident, contact Court King Injury Law.

Auto-Pedestrian Accidents

Las Vegas is a reasonably walkable city featuring plenty of parks, walking trails, scenic hikes and, of course, The Strip, featuring scores of tourists traversing the bright lights on foot. Unfortunately, auto-pedestrian traffic accidents have been steadily on the rise in Clark County over the past few years, and pedestrian deaths on Nevada roads hit a record high in 2024, according to data collected by Nevada State police. The top contributing factors in auto-pedestrian accidents are impairment and speeding. Auto-pedestrian accidents are particularly dangerous due to the vulnerability of the pedestrian, such that inattentive driving can cause havoc. If you or a loved one has been injured in a pedestrian accident, you need a top pedestrian accident attorney who can fight for your rights while you focus on your recovery.

Slip and Falls

Business and property owners owe their patrons and guests a duty to keep their premises safe and free from dangerous conditions. Unfortunately, when this duty is neglected, whether due to known, obvious hazards, negligent hiring, training or supervision, people get hurt. If you’ve been injured unnecessarily on someone else’s property due to a hazardous condition, Court King will aggressively pursue your rights as an injured slip-and-fall victim to ensure justice is served.

Dog Bites

How do I know if I have a personal injury case for a dog bite? Nevada has been voted as one of the top cities for dogs in the U.S. That’s great news as it means a friendly, accommodating environment for man’s best friend. Unfortunately, many dogs have aggressive proclivities that are obvious or well known to their owners. When these dogs act out and bite someone, the dog owner may be liable for negligence if the owner knew or had reason to believe that their dog was dangerous, either because of obvious tendencies and/or a prior history of aggressive behavior, including biting and attacking people or other dogs. Nevada law provides a mechanism for recovery from careless dog owners and/or their pet insurance companies when overly aggressive dogs strike out and cause harm to individuals. If you or someone you know has been bit and injured by an aggressive dog, Court King can assist in bringing a claim for damages in pursuit of a fair recovery.

Negligent Security

Las Vegas is chock-full of security guards, and for good reason: Las Vegas’ tourism is unmatched and there are a plethora of exciting shows, concerts, sporting events, nightclubs and activities happening simultaneously on any given night. While the vast majority of security guards aid in facilitating a safe environment for visitors and locals alike, in a charged environment things can go wrong in a hurry. Nobody should get hurt while simply out enjoying themselves but If you’ve been the victim of violence at the hands of belligerent security, Court King will aggressively pursue your rights to a full and fair recovery.

Defective Products

In the never-ending stream of commerce, things can go wrong and defective products abound. Also known as “product liability,” defective product law concerns the legal responsibility for injuries caused by defective products, encompassing manufacturers, distributors and sellers. Whether due to a design defect that makes the product inherently unsafe; a manufacturing defect that causes a deviation from the product’s intended design; or, a failure to warn, in a defective product case, the injured party must prove that the defective product caused their injury and that they were using the product as intended. If you’ve been injured by a defective product, Court King can assist you in bringing a claim for damages and compensation.

Catastrophic Personal Injury

A catastrophic personal injury claim typically involves a severe injury that permanently alters the injured victim’s life and leads to a diminished capacity to perform essential life functions on their own. Examples of a catastrophic personal injury claim include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, vision loss, paralysis and multisystem impairments. Catastrophic personal injury claims are complex and require counsel to engage in careful collaboration with life care experts and other specialists to determine the long-term care needs of the person and identify opportunities for enhanced quality of life due to the practical realities presented by the catastrophic injury. If you or a loved one has suffered a catastrophic personal injury, Court King will ensure that your needs are met and that every aspect of your case is covered in order to recover the full amount of compensation you are entitled to.

Wrongful Death

Nevada’s Wrongful Death laws enable certain family members, through a personal representative of the deceased, who is either named in the deceased person’s will or appointed by the court, to file a lawsuit seeking compensation for the death of their loved one. A wrongful death lawsuit in Nevada must be filed within two years from the date of death, and the personal representative must prove that the defendant’s negligence caused the death. If successful, damages in a wrongful death lawsuit can include medical expenses, funeral and burial costs, loss of the financial support of the deceased, loss of companionship, pain and suffering; and, in some cases where the causing the death was egregious, punitive damages.
